Après Ski: Nightlife is one of Kitzbuhel's great selling points. There is something for everyone from busy bars to quiet cafes and smart spots for shwoing off the fur coats. The lively Stamperl always gets a mention as does the Pavillion or Streifalm bar. The Londoner pub is another famous drinking place while the Fonda is better for the younger crowd.

Activities: Kitzbuhel has a 25m aquarena with large fun-pool (50% reduction with full lift-pass) plus mud baths & saunas (extra), fitness studio, indoor tennis & squash, sleigh rides, ice skating rink, cross-country skiing.

Eating Out: Numerous cafés and restaurants of all categories are available from posh nosh in the Schwarzer Adler hotel right through to McDonalds. There are too many to chose from but recommended places include Chizzo for fine dining, Traditional food at the Eggerwirt, and Barrique for pizza.

Other Amenities: Kitzbuhel has a great range of shops and boutiques, visit the museum at the top of the Hahnenkamm, casino, sleigh rides, cleared footpaths, excursions to Salzburg and Innsbruck.
