The ski area is renowned for its excellent range of pistes and efficient lift system connecting over 200km of pistes. Après Ski: Saalbach has a reputation for superb nightlife and boasts over 20 venues. It can get lively from mid afternoon until the early hours staring at the slopes at the ‘Hinterhagalm’ in Saalbach. Other recommended bars include Bauer's Ski Alm, Ötzi Bar, Zum Turm, Bobby's Kegelbar and Kings to name just a few! Castello's is thought to be the best by some.

Activities: Skidooing, tobogganing, floodlit skiing (Hinterglemm), ice skating, bowling, sleigh rides, over 50kms of cleared footpaths and free weekly guided walk.

Eating Out: Most visitors to Saalbach choose to take the Half Board option in one of the many hotels but there are also numerous restaurants catering for all tastes, for example , the Schattberg Stub'n, Wallner, Hinterhagalm, Del Rossi, Gasthof Post and the La Trattoria. The Restaurant Peter is atmospheric and the Kohlmais Stub'n is also recommended.
