Meribel - Ski Resort Information

Après Ski: When in Meribel try a quick stop at the Rond Point at the end of the day for a live band. Jack's bar is also kicking at this time as well. Many Après Ski places are British run and are more animated than most French resorts. The Aviatic at the Altiport is also fun. Later the night-life is buzzing at Scotts, the Doron Pub and Dicks T-Bar nightclub. It is quieter in Motteret but there are a few good bars here too.

Activities: Swimming pool, olympic ice skating rink, bowling, hang-gliding, parapenting, snowshoeing (Mottaret), ten-pin bowling (Meribel).

Eating Out: There is a wide choice of restaurants in both Meribel and Mottaret from French cuisine to Pizza and pasta. Try the Zinc brasserie and Escale at the Altiport or the Grand Coeur or Allodis in town. For a real French experience, the Oree du Bois is recommended. Zig-zag is great cheaper option.

Other Amenities: There are over 90 shops in Meribel, the cinema often shows English language films, tourist flights over 3 Valleys area and to Mont Blanc, twice weekly market in Meribel Tues & Fri.
