Between the entrance of the valley and the Hintertux Glacier you'll find a further 4 ski areas on the Zillertal Superskipass providing a tremendous variety of terrain to explore. It has the second largest terrain park for freestylers. Après Ski: Mayrhofen is lively and features renowned folklore programmes, beer kellers, and numerous bars and discos open until the small hours. At close of play, the Umbrella bar, the Ice bar and the Bruck'n Stadl are packed out. Other recommended places the 'Coup & More' that is less busy, Mo's bar for live music plus the Rund ‘Um, Scotland Yard Pub and Movie Bar. Later on still, try the Sport Arena Disco.

Activities: Mayrhofen has an excellent fun pool centre with adventure indoor pool, sauna, solariums and fitness centre, squash, indoor tennis, horse-riding, ice-skating, sleigh rides, tobogganing, bowling.

Eating Out: There is a wide range of restaurants for all tastes and budgets ranging from local specialities to Chinese. The Tiroler Stube and Mo's are recommended along with the Café Tirol, Grill Kuchl, Corso, Mount Everest, Zum Griena and Papageno,
