Serre Chevalier Ski Holidays

Set in the Southern Alps, Serre Chevalier is one of France's most underrated ski resorts and best-kept secrets, with a fantastic snow record and 250kms of superb runs. The resort is divided into 4 villages linked by ski runs, an efficient lift system and a regular bus service. The runs tend to be uncrowded and there is a variety of pistes for all grades of skiers and boarders, with many runs sets between the trees. . The villages of Chantemerle, Villeneuve, Montetier les Bains and Briancon are all traditional French resorts of charm and character. All have a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants.

Après Ski: Nightlife in Serre Chevalier is relaxed and informal with a number of popular bars to choose from. In Monetier, the British run de L'Alpen is popular. In Chantemerle: try the Station or Le Yeti bar for cheap beers during happy hour. In Villeneuve: Look in at the lively Le Frog, le Grotte or the Loco Loco bars with excellent music. Good night clubs include La Baita and Bam Bam.
