La Rosière is a pleasant, compact resort and is popular with families and beginner and intermediate skiers. However, the ski area is a fair size and links with la Thiule in Italy, so there are are a fair number of runs for all abilities. It is a south-facing resort with fine panoramic views, split between the main village and the nearby hamlet of Les Eucherts. The 2 areas are connected by a short bus ride and a floodlit, Alpine forest walk. The ski area is known as the 'Espace San Bernardo' ski area and has over 160km of skiable piste and the chance to enjoy an authentic Italian pizza for lunch. The charm of the resort has made it a firm favourite with families, with many returning year after year. In terms of accommodation, you’ll find a wide range of chalets and self-catering apartments, some of which are new and offer very high quality places to stay, whilst others provide a value for money option.

La Rosiere Ski Resort Information
Apres Ski: La Rosière is a lovely little family resort, so nightlife is confined to a few bars in the village, a couple of which are often full and lively. The bars are split between La Rosière and nearby Les Eucherts.
Activities: Dog sledding, snowkiting, torchlit descent, snowshoe walking, X Country skiing, Heli-skiing. Fitness centre, bowling, indoor ice skating.
Eating Out: There are around 20 places to eat in the village but despite the fairly limited choice, La Rosière has built up a bit of a reputation for good quality food. There are lots of charming little places with atmospheric décor and dishes that feature local ham and beaufort cheese. You can also find affordable pizzas and crêpes, or even cross the border to Italy for an authentic pizza/pasta lunch.
