It is a pretty village with an attractive pedestrianised centre with traditional Tirolean buildings and a pretty domed church. Söll is the main resort in the Ski-Welt circuit and the area has seen great improvements in the lift system in recent years. The area is ideal for intermediates and groups of mixed abilities , gives access to nearly 280km of interconnected pistes. Söll is also well known for its cosy bars and lively après-ski /nightlife.

Après Ski: The nighlife in Söll is very lively, good-humoured and varied with lots of places featuring live music. The Moonlight bar at the Gondola base gets lively all season as does the Salvenstadl (Cow Shed) which is recommended. Others bars include Buffalos, and Rossini's. The Whisky Mühle disco is another populat venue.
Activities: Ice skating on Lake Moorsee (when frozen), curling, tobogganing, bowling, night skiing, visit the large Baroque church, take a coach excursion to Salzburg or Innsbruck.
Eating Out: There are over 50 restaurants in Söll to choose from, many of the best ones are in the hotels eg the Greil, and Postwirt. Other recommended places for traditional food include Venezia, Dorfstub'n, Auf de Muhle and the Söller Stube. Giovanni is great for pizzas.
